Our Digital team works collaboratively to develop end-to-end digital solutions, ranging from technology selection to building and operating phases. Spanning both software and hardware deployments, we deliver and manage scalable, cloud-focused, automated solutions – focused on shared knowledge, continuous improvement and design thinking.
About the role:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will enjoy working on a diverse and exciting range of projects across various clients and industries. We are a technology agnostic business that opens endless possibilities for you to work across multiple tech stacks and multiple platforms with the opportunity to upskill and cross skill. We will always evolve as the technology landscape changes so we both won’t be left behind!
Your day to day:
Implement technology solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements and expectations
Develop high-quality code that can function with existing code, patterns and architectural techniques
Leverage and advocate for AI-assisted development tools (eg: Claude/Cline) to accelerate development
Implement structured agentic workflows (setup-plan-act) across team development practices
Lead by example in reviewing and refining AI-generated code, ensuring it meets architectural standards
Effectively utilise development best practices such as CI/CD and test integrations
Ensure appropriate quality is maintained through practices such as unit testing
Design systems that can be managed effectively in production environments
Help our clients maintain and run reliable applications and systems
Lead small teams - delegate effectively, communicate and develop others
Proactively identify and address issues outside of direct responsibility
Go-to expert in one or more technical areas
Use professional judgement while treating colleagues and clients with respect and compassion, and a demonstrated ability to display our five Mantel principles
What you’ll need to be successful:
Development experience within a Microsoft environment (C#, .Net)
Experience developing applications, consuming and developing APIs, and following technical best practices & design patterns
Demonstrated skills writing automated test routines for developed code including unit, regression, performance, and load testing
Dedication to software development best practices such as CI/CD
A passion for sharing your knowledge with others, a willingness to tackle the tricky problem and get hands-on by pair programming with colleagues
