About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Solutions Architect to join our team working alongside our CTO. This role is pivotal in understanding our clients' technology landscapes, designing and building robust solutions, and nurturing relationships with technical leaders and executives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical background, strong relationship & presentation skills, a proven track record in pre-sales, advisory and/or architecture, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while effectively managing stakeholders.
Your day to day
1) Understanding client business and technology needs:
Ability to articulate client business problems or opportunities and how technology can enable value creation.
Broad experience and understanding of progressive technologies across Digital, Cloud, Data &/or Security with the ability to derive solutions from these technologies.
2) Design and Build Solutions:
Develop tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients across a diverse range of technologies.
Ability to articulate high-level estimates (ROM) and advise on commercial or execution risk of the solutions.
3) Relationship and Stakeholder Management:
Establish relationships with the Mantel Group teams, including peers, leaders, technical and delivery teams. You will be able to take project teams on the journey and facilitate the client technical engagement to successful client outcomes.
Work with technology partners to facilitate solutions with third-party solutions, i.e., AWS, Google, Microsoft, Snowflake, Databricks etc.
4) Pre-Sales Activities:
Engage in pre-sales activities, including preparing and delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations that meet client needs and wants.
Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business, the broader industry and outcomes they are trying to solve (problem/opportunities), including key players.
What you’ll need to be successful
Proven experience in a pre-sales or advisory role within the IT professional services industry.
Proven expertise and experience in one or many of our core technical domains, Cloud, Digital, Data or Security.
Strong technical background with the ability to design and build solutions across various technologies.
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior technical leaders and executives.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances.
