About the role

As a Mantel Delivery Lead, you are integral to creating amazing experiences and outcomes for all. In this role you will lead and manage risk, quality and progress of client projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to Mantel quality standards and within the agreed SOW. Working across either Cloud, Data, Digital or Security, you will get the opportunity to lead projects across a wide range of industries and technologies!

Your day-to-day

• Lead and support team members to deliver agreed deliverables to the satisfaction of our client and stakeholders

• Work with Project/Product Owners to drive delivery outcomes, facilitate agile processes, planning meetings, workshops and retrospectives

• Have a strong understanding of deliverables, activities, risks and dependencies for projects across Cloud, Data, Digital or Security

• Build autonomous, self-organising and continuously improving teams via effective implementation of Agile principles

• Have the ability to be flexible and adapt to traditional ways of working when required e.g. Waterfall

• Coordinate and communicate team member allocations

• Facilitate resolution of issues with the team collaboratively and communicate priorities with the client

• Recognise which risks should be managed and/or escalated to the client and/or stakeholders as appropriate

• Work collaboratively with the client to manage project schedules, milestones, scope and variations

• Ensure the team remains focused on priorities and that backlog and release plans are maintained

• Manage key stakeholders and communicate well both verbally and in writing via the agreed project reporting

• Ensure project deliverables align with the contractual agreements to provide acceptance and sign-off

• Use professional judgement while treating colleagues and clients with respect and compassion, and a demonstrated ability to display our five Mantel principles
  

What you’ll need to be successful

• Can define and manage technology projects from beginning to end

• Has experience tracking and communicating the progress of Technology projects from a financial and commercial perspective

• Is well versed in techniques and methodologies such as agile, lean and kanban 

• Builds effective relationships with stakeholders and our team to ensure trust and confidence

• Enables cohesive and supportive team environments with a focus on team health and wellbeing

• Is consultative, customer facing and has strong negotiation techniques

• Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
