Client Experience
Focused on long-standing and trusted relationships, the Client Experience team works closely with clients to truly understand their business needs and wants – in turn bringing the best of Mantel's value propositions to add value above and beyond. From strategic account management to marketing and events, to technical solutioning, the Client Experience team is focused on delivering the best possible outcomes for our clients.
About the role
As a Principal Consultant, you will work within our Client Engagement team to support and streamline sales-related activities that occur before or during the sales cycle. You will analyse client needs, understand their technical landscape and deliver pre-sales engagements in line with their requirements. By developing a deep understanding of our services and/or products, you will leverage your relationships with internal teams and technology partners to assist in formulating and presenting solutions to prospective or existing clients, as required.The work we do is broad but always focused on delivering the best outcome for our clients.
What you’ll need to be successful
Strong business acumen with end-to-end understanding of design and development of solutions as well as the project delivery life cycle. You'll need strong pre-sales, consulting and technical solutions focussed.
Extensive consulting experience and a proven track record of building relationships / rapport with technical and business leaders at EM, GM and CxO level
Experience working on large engagements and the ability to understand complex customer requirements and apply technology solutions to meet business problems
Experience in large and complex RFP responses, solution design, ability to articulate the value proposition of an overall solution
Proven experience and ability to own the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, documents and artefacts
Excellent leadership and communication skills and be confident making presentations
Ability to work independently as well as work closely and collaboratively with different team members.
A strong aptitude for time management and organisation to meet strict timeframes, deadlines and budgets in a fast-paced environment
Strong influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to handle objections and be persuasive when proposing solutions and products
Self-motivated and hands-on approach, adept at navigating ambiguity to find solutions
You will have an understanding of some of the following key technology concepts:
Digital transformation strategies and roadmaps
End-to-end project delivery
Product design and development across web, mobile (native/cross platform) and API integration
Modern big data tools and cloud ecosystem platforms, technologies, and service offerings
Managed services offerings
