Data Working in data at Mantel means you'll be ahead of the curve. You can align to a particular cloud platform or remain cloud agnostic, specialising in data engineering, machine learning, analytics, or data science. You'll design and scale enterprise-level, fully automated Agentic AI solutions, and speed up data platform migrations.

About the role 

In this role, you will drive the strategic application of AI within client organisations, seamlessly aligning AI initiatives and Mantel's offerings with their broader business goals. You will lead industry-specific thought leadership, identifying trends and helping clients capitalise on AI opportunities in partnership with Mantel. Additionally, you will lead Mantel and clients on new and emerging AI trends and technologies, ultimately positioning Mantel as a leader in AI-driven transformation.

Your day-to-day

Delivery

• Oversee complex AI projects, ensuring they deliver strategic value and align with client business objectives. Manage client and exec level expectations and play a role in advocating and translating solution design to wider stakeholders on client side to well position adoption.

• Provide high-level guidance on the implementation of AI solutions, ensuring they are scalable and sustainable, following responsible AI practices and achieving desired outcomes.

Relationship Building

• Build relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor on AI and on their AI strategy.

• Foster relationships across the client's business units, facilitating cross-functional AI initiatives and proactively initiating conversations and initiatives to build traction and visibility in Mantel as a trusted partner across the wider business.

Problem Solving

• Lead the identification of strategic business problems where AI can create significant impact, shaping high-value solutions.

• Leading the design of Mantel wide initiatives that relate to an AI solution, engaging with appropriate Mantel teams and driving the opportunity on behalf of Mantel.

Communication

• Articulate complex AI strategies and outcomes to C-level executives and board members.

• Deliver high-impact client presentations that showcase the long-term value and strategic alignment of AI initiatives.

• Thought leader and practiced speaker on AI application and successful enterprise adoption in ANZ businesses in talks, panels and events for business leader audiences

• Drive enterprise level pre-sales end to end for AI initiatives while leading the coordination and leveraging broader Mantel capabilities into client proposals and engagements.

• Drive the development of new market-led Go To Market propositions in AI for Mantel. Drive the deployment strategy across Hyperscalers and internal sales teams and development of accompanying collateral.

• Align AI initiatives with client business strategies, driving profitability, efficiency, and competitive advantage.

• Articulate and refine the value proposition of AI solutions, driving business growth and client ROI.

• Lead business development efforts, shaping proposals, and securing high-value AI projects.

• Use professional judgement while treating colleagues and clients with respect and compassion, and a demonstrated ability to display our Mantel principles

What you’ll need to be successful: 

• Proven experience overseeing complex enterprise AI projects from inception to value realisation, ensuring scalability, sustainability, and strict adherence to responsible AI practices.

• Exceptional ability to build rapport with C-suite and board-level executives, acting as a trusted strategy advisor who can articulate complex AI concepts and manage expectations to drive user adoption.

• Natural ability to foster relationships across diverse business units, driving internal alignment across Mantel teams while building external visibility and long-term partnership value.

• Mastery in diagnosing complex business challenges and shaping them into high-value, strategically aligned AI solutions.

• A practised public speaker and thought leader capable of delivering high-impact presentations to showcase AI value to enterprise audiences across ANZ.

• Demonstrated success leading enterprise pre-sales and business development efforts, from shaping high-quality proposals to leveraging broader company capabilities to secure high-value projects.

• Proven ability to develop, launch, and drive market-led Go-To-Market propositions, including deployment strategies across Hyperscalers and internal sales channels.
